Michel Keck’s mixed media, cross art assemblages are original found object wall sculptures created from recycled, repurposed, and reclaimed materials. Each cross assemblage is rooted in the tradition of assemblage art and bricolage — the practice of constructing artwork from discarded objects and overlooked materials.
These mixed media cross artworks are built using reclaimed wood, rusted metal, vintage hardware, fabrics, and salvaged elements gathered from barns, industrial sites, and everyday studio remnants. Keck’s cross assemblages have a raw, industrial yet shabby-chic feel. Weathered surfaces of each piece tell their own stories through the materials themselves. No two pieces are ever alike — each is a one-of-a-kind mixed media assemblage, signed by the artist and created entirely by hand.
